from early-July, 2002 will be a CD-ROM covering the
airlines & aircraft of the Ansett group of Airlines.
It
is being produced by Fred Niven, who spent 37 years at
Ansett, during many of which he acted as an unofficial
Company aviation historian.
The
CD-ROM (in both PC Microsoft Word 97 & PDF format
(with Adobe reader)), will cover the Ansett Group of
airlines in Australia, PNG & New Zealand (including
all the subsidiaries of A.T.I., A.N.A., Airlines of
Australia & all their predecessors) aircraft, since
Western Australian Airways in 1921.
Its
530-plus A4 �landscape� pages will include :

details of each aircraft operated by an
Ansett-related airline; including its previous &
subsequent histories (including what�s happened
since September 2001).
An
historical flow-chart for each airline, including
main dates & logos.
'Milestones'
of Ansett Group airline-related aviation events.
Details
of all known Ansett-related aircraft
accidents/incidents.
Over
200 photos of Ansett-related aircraft &
personalities, since 1921.
Route-maps
& memorabilia & some 'What might have beens'.

full index of registrations, by both aircraft type
& airline.
